The proposed architecture emulates the act of dance.

The street experience is everything Moulin Rouge stands for. The form of the façade pulls the spectator into the previous Moulin location which becomes the courtyard, moving its location as it climbs the building's levels.

 

This façade-courtyard draws light into the building during the day and funnels the spectacular light of the performing cabaret at night. The building is in constant dialogue with its context.
