The project is located in the residential area of Jebel Ali in the Dubai waterfront. We were asked to develop a hotel resort with residential spaces, but most important, offering an eco-friendly environment in Dubai.

 

We decided to present a proposal using the breezes from the ocean for natural ventilation and cover the proposal with a thick layer of vegetation for insulation purposes. With massive solar panels facade, we create an icon of energy, technology and the environment.

 

In parallel, the shadow cast of the main facade cools down the rest of the building and it provides a pleasant atmosphere on the roof gardens for diverse activities.
